Ten free ways to help animals

You don’t need money to help dogs, cats and other animals. You only need a big heart and some extra minutes in your day. The following is a list of 10 things you can do to benefit animals in need:

#1 - Click daily on the following websites:

#4 - Link your grocery club card to an animal organization.
At Bashas, click here to choose your shelter or rescue. Jot down the number to give the cashier on your next in-store visit. 

#5 – Give your local animal shelter or rescue group old blankets, towels, sheets, pillow cases, or other items they need. You can find many shelters at: http://www.animalshelter.org/shelters/Arizona.asp

#6 - Volunteer or become a foster for a local animal shelter or rescue organization. (See above for locations.)

#7 – Get rid of old clothes and other items by donating them to the following thrift stores:

ALWAYS ADOPT FROM YOUR LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER/POUND OR LOCAL RESCUE GROUP
