I am all new to this just like you, and wondered where to start just like you, so join me in my journey, and I will share as many good and bad tips as I can...my first thought is START LOCALLY in your city/county/state,  get to know your officials, remember we the taxpayers pay them, and if they are not doing their job, let them know, but always be professional, someday you might need their vote!!!
