Thoughts to ponder

Why have influential groups and their members like the NRA (National Rifle Assoc) and the A.K.C. (American Kennel Club) traded in their "CORE VALUES" for power and greed????

Instead of supporting much needed legislation to STOP the abuse and irresponsible "mass breeding" in puppy mills that supports animal cruelty to the highest degree, and directly impacts pet overpopulation in cities nationwide.

Why hasn't the NRA laid down its proverbial arms for the sake of the animals because its the right thing to do, a and doesn't impact our second amendment rights they so cherish?

Why hasn't the AKC stopped registering puppies at puppy mill auctions at an ever increasing rate?

They need they need to try putting more energy into protecting the health and well being of their "breed" and less energy on turning a profit.

Why haven't compassionate/reputable breeders stepped up to join forces with the animal advocates to shut down the irresponsible entities that tarnish their good breeding standards and reputations.

When you have disharmony between groups like breeders and rescue groups, you should not always talk about your differences you should talk about your commonalities...the animals, and work together to end the abuse.

Instead of looking at legislation, and seeing how it just affects yours or your groups beliefs, look outside the box and see how the legislation will benefit the common good, and help champion the cause just because its the right thing to do.   STOP THE GREED.

Contact the NRA and the A.K.C. and ask them to put down their arms and help the puppy mill dogs and end the abuse.
