As an animal advocate it makes me sick inside to see how many animals are put down in big cities nationwide.
Here in Maricopa County (Phoenix) alone APPROX 43,000 animals are put to death each year...BECAUSE

The increase in animals entering shelters and the tragic increase in euthanasia rates is due to:

• People abandoning their pets because of financial problems
• Accidental litters from unaltered pets
• Over-breeding of dogs and cats
• Stray dogs and cats reproducing

It underscores the need for spay and neuter laws NATIONWIDE
